What to Bring to Your Appointment:

Swim Suit/Undergarments to wear during tan (Caution: May get stained. Bring an old one)
Dark, loose-fitting clothes to change into (shorts, tshirt)
Flip Flops or old sandals
Umbrella if it is raining
A towel to sit on in your car on the way home

Preparation before your tan

*Schedule two days before your event* Tans show up best on days 3-5

Exfoliate/shave/wax 24 hours prior to your tan
Get your manicure/pedicure/facials 48+ hours before
No deodorants, lotions, perfumes or body oils the day of the appointment
Wear super loose fitting clothes and flip flops to your appointment
If its raining: bring an umbrella, wear sleeves and pants to protect your tan when you walk to your car in the rain

Aftercare

Sit on fabric or a towel to prevent it from rubbing off onto a seat
Be super careful with water while the tan is developing. (Washing hands, switching the laundry, washing dishes, etc) can cause streaks running down the arm
Do no shower or sweat excessively while tan is developing
No intense working out (working up a sweat) while tan is developing
Gently rinse in the shower after recommended time (about 5-8 hours). Don’t use soap until the water runs completely clear.
Moisturize twice a day to keep skin hydrated and prolong the tan
No lotions or body wash containing alcohol, mineral oil, or fragrances
No Dove products - will strip your tan
Oceans, hot tubs and swimming pools fade the tan quicker, be cautious

Do not shower or sweat excessively for the next 7-8 hours (Over night if possible) after your tan. This allows your tan to fully develop it’s color. If you do not shower until the next morning, make sure to wear loose fitting pjs to bed.

Do not shave for the first 12 hours after your spray and first shower, if you must, use a fresh razor.

Avoid using moisturizers and applying deodorant during developing time.

Wearing socks or closed shoes can cause your tan to develop unevenly on your feet, avoid wearing either for at least the first 5 hours of your tan. Avoid wearing tight clothing for at least the first 5 hours of your tan, tight clothing could render your tan splotchy.

Maintaining You’re Tan to Last Longer:
Avoid long/hot baths and showers, hot temperatures open your pores and will release the tan more quickly. Moisturize twice daily to extend tan and ensure even fading. Pat dry after shower. Use a fresh Razor when shaving.
